An adjourned regular meeting of the city Council of the City of
Rosemead was held in the Council Chambers, 8815 East Valley
• Boulevard. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Maude at
7:42 o'clock p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Planning Commissioner Paul
Taylor.
The Invocation was delivered by Councilman Andersen.

Administrative Assistant Wroe advised the Council that City
Administrator Farrell had just called from Sacramento to report
that the park bill was out of committee. and would go before t-:--
Senate with 90% chance of adoption.
BUDGET STUDY.
Administrative Assistant Wroe presented the statements of fund
balances, estimated revenues and expenditure appropriations pages
of the budget.
Mayor Maude advised the Council that after a page had been con-
sidered,.if there were no objections, it would be considered
approved.

Councilman Stead requested that a report be furnished on mileage
for the past year showing meeting expense, travel expense and
daily use for staff, commissions and Council.

and unanimously carried, that this meeting adjourn in memory of
'illiam T. S. Jacobson, City Administrator of South El Monte, to
a personnel session at ':30 o'clock p.m., June 11, 1963. Meeting
adjourned at 11:32 o'clock p.m.
