Dear Mayor Imperial:
This year California District 18 Little League Baseball is publishing a 1997 Tournament of
Champions and All Star Tournament Baseball and Softball Program, in honor of our 40th Anniversary.
This informative program will include all tournament schedules, plus editorials, profiles, photos, past
champions, news and information about baseball and Little League in general. It will be distributed
throughout 16 Little Leagues in the San Gabriel Valley. The 16 Little Leagues within District 18 are found
in the cities of Rosemead, San Gabriel, Alhambra, El Monte, So. El Monte, Temple City, South Pasadena,
and parts of Los Angeles. We are anticipating that this program will reach over 20,000 families in the San
Gabriel Valley and beyond.
In February, we mailed each of the cities listed above, a letter asking for sponsorship in our
Program. To date, I have responses from some cities, but not all. I would really like to see the City of
Rosemead represented. The Program will be one of the largest and of the highest quality anywhere in the
country, a Program in which you will be very proud to have your City included.
The prices for advertisements are:
Full page Black/White $ 475
Half page Black/White $ 250
We have set the date of June 1 as our deadline for orders. If you would like to reserve a place in
our Tournament Program, please give me a call. I will arrange to pick up any artwork or information you
would like to include. We will send you an invoice later.
On behalf of Little League Baseball and District 18, I would like to thank you for all the support
you provide to the youth of your community.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Milan Mrakich
