Pavement Coatings Co. $41,647.95 2. Roy Allen Slurry Seal, Inc. $42,728.00 3. Doug Martin Contracting Co. $45,565.90 4. California Pavement Maintenance Co. $45,909.90 5. Valley Slurry Seal Co. $51,775.05 Attached are copies of the three low bids, a bid analysis, and Dun and Bradstreet reports for, the three low bidders. The low bid was submitted by Pavement Coatings Co., a responsible contractor, in the amount of $41,647.95, which is 1 percent below the Engineer's estimate of$42,000. The average bid was $45,525.36. RECOMMENDATION 1. Accept bids and award the project to Pavement Coatings Co. in the amount of $41,647.95. 2. Authorize the Mayor to sign the contract on behalf of the City.
