Consultant Garcia explained that a shared housing development included tiny
homes or developments to allow for multiple individuals to share a space and cost,
similar to having roommates to be able to afford housing. It's a development that
responds to groups of people, co -living together as an innovative solution to address
some of the issues young people face regarding accessible housing.
Council Member Ly agreed with Council Member Armenta and hopes there is a
larger input size in the future. He opined the plan reflects the residents and the

Emily Nguyereplained,t t having comprehensive smoke-free policies in multi-

to'p;otect their heath. In addition, imposing outdoor dining policies can protect
non smokers, imove air quality, and reduce secondhand smoke exposure. She
noted, so4engeles County cities have implemented similar outdoor smoking
bans with great success. Lastly, a statistic from a survey taken from Rosemead

smoking in outdoor dining should be prohibited, and 88.5% prefer smoke-free
