City Manager Molleda stated graffiti on private businesses and private properties is
handled by Code Enforcement Officers. They give businesses owners and property
owners a notice to make sure they take care of the graffiti abatement.
Mayor Low agreed the graffiti topic should be brought back for discussion. The City
may need to change the way the process is done because there is a cost involved.
In addition, she requested to add to the agenda for discussion the formation of a Public
Safety Commission as she has received calls about businesses being broken into
along Garvey Avenue; noted one business was broken.,- into at least three times.
