CC - 1960 - 88 - Withdrawing Certain Territory From Lighting DistrictsRESOLUTION NO. 60-88. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD WITHDRAWING CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE ROSEMEAD, POTRERO AND GARVEY LIGHTING DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, the Rosemead, Potrero, and Garvey Lighting Districts were formed under the provisions of Part 4, Division 14 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, a portion of each of the above named lighting districts lies within the boundaries of the City of Rosemead by reason of incorporation; and WHEREAS, the exact boundaries of the territory of the City of Rosemead located in each of said lighting districts are shown on the map attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead desires to form a city lighting district under the provisions of Section 18000 et seq. of the California Streets and Highways Code. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 19290 of Part 4 of Division TIT of tSe Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, all territory of the City of Rosemead, located within the boundaries of Rosemead Lighting District, Potrero Lighting District, and Garvey Lighting District as they existed on December 13, 1960, is hereby declared to be with- drawn from each and all of said lighting districts. SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Rosemead is hereby directed to file certified copies of this resolution with the State Board of Equalization, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, the Assessor of the County of Los Angeles, and the County-City Coordinator of the County of Los Angeles. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 13th day of December, 1960.
