CC - 1960 - 26 - Appointing City AdministrationRESOLUTION N0.60-26 • A RESOLUTION OF'•THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 077 ROSEMEAD APPOINTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead was incorporated on the 4th day of August, 1959 as a general law city of the State of California, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead has determined that it is necessary for the efficient opera- tion of the City and for the benefit of all residents and taxpayers of the City that a City Administrator be appointed to assist the City Council in the administration of the af- fairs of the City, and WHEREAS, the authority for the appointment contain- ed herein is set forth in Section 36505 of the Government Code, and WHEREAS, Mr. Milton R. Farrell possesses the qualifications and experience to permit him to so administer the affairs of the City in the best interests of the residents and taxpayers of the City, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rosemead, DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER us follows: SECTION 1. Mr. Milton R. Farrell is hereby appoint- ed the City Administrator of the City of Rosemead. SECTION 2. The salary of the City Administrator is hereby establ~ isied-as follows: (a) Until such time as the City Administrator is able to terminate his employment with the County of Colusa and assume the full time duties as City Administrator of the City of Rosemead, he shall receive a salary of $4.97 per hour for each hour of work which he devotes to the affairs of the City of Rosemead. (b) Wher. the City Administrator has terminated his employment with the County of Colusa and has then assumed his full time duties as City Administrator of the City of Rosemead, he shall receive a salary of $10,500 per year and in addition thereto shall be entitled to be reimbursed for all actual and necessary expenses which he may have incurred for the City of Rosemead.
