RESOLUTION NO. 60-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT
OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION
FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS
"ANNEXATION AREA NO. 13" AND AN AFFIDAVIT OF
PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROVING THE CIRCULA-
TION OF.THE PETITION.
WHEREAS, a proposal was heretofore presented to the
City Council of the City of Rosemead requesting the City
Council to give its consent to the commencement of annexation
proceedings in connection with certain inhabited territory
contiguous to the City of Rosemead,and;
WHEREAS, a report and recommendations have been received
from the Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead approving
and recommending the annexation of said territory,and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead in
a regular meeting of said City Council held on September 13,
1960 consented to the commencement of annexation proceedings
in connection with said inhabited territory in accordance
with the Annexation Act of 1913,and;
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1960, there was filed with tha
City Clerk of the City of Rosemead a copy of a notice of
intention to circulate a petition relating to annexation of
said territory to the City of Rosemead, under the Annexation
Act of 1913, pertaining to territory designated as "Annexation
Area No. 13," accompanied by a written statement containing
reasons for the petition together with an affidavit of public-
ation of said notice in the Rosemead Review,and;
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the
legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt
of the notice and approving the circulation of the petition.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Rosemead:
Section 1. That the receipt of notice, statement and
affidavit is hereby acknowledged, and that approval is hereby
given for the circulation of the petition for annexation of
that territory designated as "Annexation Area No. 13," twenty-
one days after the publication of said notice and statement.
Section 2.. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoptic.,
of this resolution.

HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1: That in accordance with Section 37202

RESOLUTION N0. 60=1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL
FUND IN THE CITY TREASURY AND RESCINDIN
RESOLUTION NO. 60-54.
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to provide, as a service
to the citizens of the City of Rosemead, a method whereby fees
for various types of permits issued by the County of-Los Angeles
on behalf of the City can be paid at the City Hall; and
WHEREAS, it is further deemed desirable to establish an
informal and inexpensive vehicle for the disbursement of small
sums for which the issuance of individual general warrants is not
practicable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Treasurer is
hereby authorized and directed to establish a special bank account~~
of the City of Rosemead to be known as the "Revolving Bank Account
and that the City Clerk be authorized to draw against said account
without additional countersignatures being required and to further
delegate to a bonded deputy authority to also draw upon said
account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that deposits to this account are.
restricted exclusively to those fees received for permits issued
administratively by the County of Los.Angeles on behalf of the
City of Rosemead and to periodic reimbursements to said special
account made by general warrants of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that disbursements from this account
be restricted exclusively to the remittance to the County of Los
Angeles of fees collected for said County and to the expenditure
of amounts not to exceed in any individual instance the sum of
$50.00 and for which issuance of a general warrant is not conven-
ient or practicable, and provided such expenditures are within the
amounts and classifications provided for in the budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $200.00 of the
General Fund be transferred into this account and that reimburse-
ment of any part of this amount be made not less frequently than
every two months by means of a general warrant issued upon sub-
mission and audit of proper documentary authorization of.each
expenditure made from,this account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 60-54 is hereby
rescinded and the Special Petty Cash Fund heretofore established
be continued in effect.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD ADOPTING AND
APPROVING THE MASTER AGREEMENT FOR
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED UNDER
SECTION 2107.5 OF THE STREETS AND
HIGHWAYS CODE.
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been presented
to be entered into with the State of California for
expenditure of the engineering allocation in the City
of Rosemead, and;
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said
agreement in full and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council
of the City of Rosemead that said master agreement be
and it is hereby adopted to cover the budgeting of
proposed expenditures of the engineering allocation to
cities, and said agreement be and the same is hereby
approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed
to sign the same on behalf of said city, said agreement
to be binding upon the city upon its execution by the
authorized officials of the State.

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 60-66
AND TERMINATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS..
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Resolution No.60-66 entitled
"RESOLUTTOIJ C VIITIG NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO CITY OF
ROSEMEAD OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HERE-
IN AND DESIGNATED"CITY OF ROSEMEAD ANNEXATION AREA NO. 11
AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS
THERETO" was adopted by the City Council of the City of Rose-
mead on September13, 1960, instituting proceedings for the
annexation to the City of Rosemead of certain uninhabited
territory therein described and designated as "City of Rose-
mead Annexation Area No. 11"; that said resolution fixed
June 14, 1960 at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.as the hour
and date of the public hearing before said City Council for
the hearing of protests against the annexation of said territory;
that no protests against such annexation have been filed with
the legislative body, the City Clerk or the City of Rosemead.
SECTION 2. That the aforesaid Resolution No. 60-66
be and t e same is hereby rescinded and the annexation pro-
ceedings instituted thereby be and the same are hereby termin-
ated.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
ADOPTED this 11th day of October, 1960, by the follow-
