RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE--CITY OF
ROSEMEAD REQUESTING APPROVAL OF THE LOS ANGELES
COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION
NO. 13-61, TERRITORY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD, TO THE CONSOLIDATED COUNTY FIRE PRO-
TECTION DISTRICT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES RESOLVE AS.-FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Rosemead does
hereby dire its intention to commence proceedings, pursuant
to Section 14401 of the Health & Safety Code of the State of
California, for the annexation of the hereinafter described
territory located within the boundaries of the City of Rosemead,
and known as proposed Annexation No. 13-61 to the Consolidated
County Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County.
Section 2. The boundaries of the territory proposed to
be annexeaTave heretofore been submitted to and reported upon
by the Los Angeles County Boundary Commission. The approved
boundaries as reported on are as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the northerly line of
Valley Boulevard, 66 feet wide, as down on map of Tract No.
14535, recorded in Book 298, pages 6 and 7 of Maps, in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, with
the westerly line of Temple City Boulevard, 80 feet wide,
(formerly Ellis Lane), as shown on map filed as Exhibit "A"
in Case No. 270698 of the Superior Court of the State of
California in and for said county; thence North 18 13'
East along said westerly line 241.63 feet; thence North
710 47' West 283.96 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence southerly along the boundary of the-City of RoEemead,
as same existed on March 14, 1961, to the boundary of
Consolidated County Fire Protection District, as same
existed on said date; thence easterly along said last
mentioned boundary and following the same in all its
various courses to the true point of beginning.
Section 3. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors as
the governing body of the Consolidated County Fire Protection
District is hereby requested to grant approval of said annex-
ation pursuant to the terms and provisions of Section 14401 of
the Health b Safety Code of the State of California.
