DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS. NOW,•THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rosemead does hereby resolve as follows: . Section 1. That the improvement of Walnut Grove Avenue. and the acquisition of an' easement in, upon, over and across said real property for said public purpose is a use authorized,by law. Section 2. That the public interest and necessity require the improvement of said public highway. Section 3. That the above-described parcels of land are necessary for,such purpose,. Section 4. That such proposed improvement of said public highway is'located in a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injury. Section 5. That.those certain parcels of land above described be condemned for a public purpose, namely, for the improvement of Walnut Grove Avenue for public road and highway purposes, and the City Attorney of the City of Rosemead is hereby directed to institute eminent domain proceedings in the Superior Court of the State of Cali- fornia for the County of Los Angeles, for the condemnati6n of said parcels of land above described for public road and highway purposes,,and to take all steps necessary for the condemnation of said parcels-of.land in the name of said City. Section 6. That the public interest and necessity require the taking of immediate possession, and the City Attorney is directed to institute proceedings for the taking of immediate possession, and the use of the property herein ordered to be acquired, upon complying with the requirements of the law applicable thereto.
