A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA, WELCOMING MARIA GRANADOS CHEVERRI
OF COSTA RICA, AND EXTENDING TO HER GREETINGS
AND GOOD WISHES FROM THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead
has consistently maintained that the key to peace in the world
is understanding; and
WHEREAS, members of this Council are convinced that
real understanding can only be achieved through friendly inter-
change of ideas among people; and
WHEREAS, MARIA GRANADOS CHEVERRI is
living in the City of Rosemead as a student at
School; and
WHEREAS, members of this Council and
the'City of Rosemead have had the privilege of
GRANADOS CHEVERRI, and find her to be a worthy
of her country, Costa Rica.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Rosemead takes this pleasure in welcoming
MARIA GRANADOS CHEVERRI to this City and extends to her all
