RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF ROSE-
MEAD TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY THAT CERTAIN AGREE-
MENT ENTITLED "AGREEMENT FOR STATE ADMINISTRATION OF
LOCAL SALES AND USE TAXES."
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead has heretofore passed and adopt-
ed the Uniform City Sales Tax and Use Tax Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed Agree-
ment with the State Board of Equalization for the State administration
of City Sales and Use Tax,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Henry E. Stead, as Mayor of the City of Rosemead,
is authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Rosemead
that certain Agreement with the State Board of Equalization entitled
"Agreement for State Administration of Local Sales and Use Taxes"
which provides that the State Board of Equalization shall perform ex-
clusively all functions incident to the administration and operation
of the Uniform City Sales and Use Tax Ordinance.
