A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2022-23
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET AND APPROPRIATE
ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL —
SIDEWALK GAP CLOSURE — DELTA AVENUE FROM MISSION DRIVE
TO WELLS STREET PROJECT NO. 21029
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Operating and Capital
Improvement Program budgets on June 14, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2022-23 budget included funding for Safe Routes To School
—.Si&ewalk .Ciap Closure — Delta Ave from Mission Dr to Wells St Project ("Project") in the amount
of $1,175,000; and
WkREAS, amendments must periodically be made to the budget to conform to changed
eircumstances.fo3'lowing adoption of the budget; and
THE ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby approves an appropriation in the amount of Two
Hundred and Forty -Five Thousand Dollars ($245,000) in Measure R Funds to increase funding for
the Project, for a total Project budget of $1,420,000.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
