CC - 1964 - 51 - Protests to Annexation No. 24CITY OF ROSEMEAI? , RESOLUTION N0: 64-.5/ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RE PROTESTS TO ANNEXATION NO. 24. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 15th day of June, 1964, the City Council of the City of Rosemead passed and adopted Resolution No. 64-46 declaring its intention to submit. the question of annexation of territory designated as "Annexation No, 24" to electors residing in said territory and setting a hearing for written protests against said annextion and giving notice thereof, and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution said City Council duly conducted,a public hearing and heard and passed upon any and all protests made with respect to such annexation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosemead hereby finds and declares pursuant to Section 35121.1 of the Government Code of the State of California, that protests to said proposed annexa- tion have not been made by public and private owners of one-half of the value of said territory proposed to be anne::ed and that a majority protest has not been made to such annexation.
