CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE SPECiA.L :%NNEXATION ELECTION HELD IN THE COUNTY 0'r' LOS ANGELES. KNOWN AS C"! Cc ROSEMEAD "ANNEX.Ai10N AREA NO. 24" ON THE 8TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1964, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF AN_' SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW. WHEREAS, a special annexation election was held and conducted in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, in the area known as City of Rosemead "Annexation Area No. 24", on iuesrt.;, the Eth day of September, 1964, as required by law; anJ WH: FAS. notice of said election was duly and regularly given in time, form and manner as provided by law; that voting p°eclr,cts were propers.y established; that election officers were aipcintev and that in all respects said election was held and conduct-d an6 the votes cast thereat, received and canvassed and the retur:-:, made and declared in time, form and manner as required v by t:he ,,rov7-ions of the Elections Code of the State of California .or th^ holding of elections; and WHEREAS, on the 14th day of September, 1964, at the hour of 7:00 o'clock p.m,, the City Council duly assembled at its usual place: of Rico-ling and has canvassed the returns of said election and as a r _:ait o which, the City Council finds that the number of votes cast Inc' other matters required by law to be as stated hereinafter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIi=ORlSifi, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 6. The City Clerk shall enter on the records of the City COUncI of said City, a statement of the result of said election, showing: 1. The whole number of votes 2.
