CC - 1964 - 72 - Protests to Annexation Area No. 26C • RESOLUTION NO. 64-72 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RE PROTESTS TO ANNEXATION AREA NO. 26. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 25th day of August, 1364, the City Council of the City of Rosemead passed and adopted Resolution No. 64-63 initiating proceedings for the annexation of certain uninhabited territory to the City of Rosemead and giving notice of the proposal to annex such territory, said territory being therein designated as "City of Rosemead Annexation Area No. 26, and WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution said City Counci duly conducted a public hearing and heard and passed upon any and all protests made with respect to such annexation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosemead hereby finds and declared that protests to said proposed annexation have not been made by private owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory pro- posed to be annexed, nor by public owners of one-half of the publicly owned property proposed to be annexed, nor has a majority protest been made.
