A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD DECLARING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
NECESSARY FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES AND AUTHORIZING
THE ACQUISITION THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY FIND,
DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the public interest and necessity
require the acquisition by the City of Rosemead, of real
property and the construction thereon of a city hall and
other facilities as a needed public improvement, and the
acquisition of the hereinafter described property for such
public buildings and grounds.
Section 2. That pursuant to the authority of the
governing obey -of the City of Rosemead to acquire property
by eminent domain, the City Attorney is hereby authorized
and directed in the name of the City of Rosemead to institute
eminent domain proceedings in the Superior Court of the State
of California in and for the County of Los Angeles for the
acquisition of the following described property, which said
property is within the territorial limits of said City of
Rosemead, to wit:

Parcel l:
The Southerly 125 feet of that portion of the
Easterly 60 feet of the Westerly 130.31 feet of
the Easterly 325.77 feet of Lot 1 in Block 6 of
Rosemead, in the City of Rosemead, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 21, Page 114 of Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said County,
lying Northerly of the center line of Steele
Street, as said street is described in deed to
the County of Los Angeles, recorded in Book
15073, Page 262, Official Records.
Parcel 2:
That portion of the Westerly 70.31 feet of the
Easterly 325.77 feet of Lot 1 in Block 6 of
Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 21,
Pages 114 and 115 of Maps, in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, lying
North of the center line of Steele Street,
as said street is described in the deed to
said County, recorded in Book 15073, Page
262, Official Records.
EXCEPT the North 17 feet thereof as granted to
the State of California, by deed recorded in
Book 41551, Page 361, Official Records.

Westerly 130.31 feet of the Easterly 325.77
feet of Lot 1 in Block 6 of Rosemead, in the
City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 21,
Page 114 of Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, lying Northerly of the
center line of Steele Street, as said street is
described in deed to the County of Los Angeles,
recorded in Book 15073, Page 262, Official
Records.
EXCEPT the Southerly 125 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPT the Northerly 17 feet thereof as
granted to the State of California by deed
recorded in Book 41368, Page 321, Official
Records.
Section 3. That the use to which said property
is to be apppp-Tie~is a public use authorized by law and the
taking of such property is necessary to such use.
