RESOLUTION NO. 65-67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD RE PROTESTS TO ANNEXATION AREA
NO. 28.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of August, 1965, the City
Council of the City of Rosemead passed and adopted
Resolution No. 65-61 declaring its intention to submit
the question of annexation of territory designated as
"Annexation No. 28" to electors residing in said territory
and setting a hearing for written protests against said
annexation and giving notice thereof, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said resolution said City
Council duly conducted a public hearing and heard and
passed upon any and all protests made with respect to
such annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Rosemead hereby finds and declares
pursuant to Section 35121.1 of the Government Code of the
State of California, that protests to said proposed annex-
ation have not been made by public and private owners of
one-half of the value of said territory proposed to be
annexed and that a majority protest has not been made to
such annexation.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of
September, 1965.
