A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF A
COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE
PETITION FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION NO. 30" AND AN
AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROV-
ING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION.
WHEREAS, on September 28, 1965, there was filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Rosemead a copy of Notice of
Intention to Circulate Petition Relating to Annexation
of Certain Territory Designated "Annexation No.'30" to
the City of Rosemead Under the Annexation Act of 1913
accompanied by a written statement containing reasons
for the petition together with an affidavit of publica-
tion of said notice in the Rosemead Review; and
WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that
the legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging
receipt of the notice and approving the circulation of the
petition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Rosemead.
Section 1. That the receipt of the notice,
statement and a idavit aforesaid be and the same hereby
is acknowledged, and that approval be and hereby is
given for the circulation of the petition for annexation
of that certain territory described in Exhibit A attached
hereto and designated as Annexation No. 30 twenty-one (21)
days after the publication of said notice and statement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 28th day of
September, 1965.

DESCRIPTION OF REVISED BOUNDARIES FOR PROPOSED
"ANNEXATION NO. 30" TO THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
AS MODIFIED BY THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
All that property in the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the easterly boundary of the City of Rosemead,
as said boundary existed on May 17, 1965, said point of beginning being
a point in the easterly line of Lot 34 of Tract No. 701, as per map
recorded in Book 16, pages 110 and 111, of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said county, distant northerly 220 feet along said
easterly line of Lot 3r, from the southeast corner of said Lot; thence
easterly in a direct line to a point in the westerly line of Lot 35
of said Tract No. 701 which is distant northerly 220 feet from the
southwest corner of said Lot 35 and which point is also a point in
the southerly boundary of the Whittier Narrows Flood Control Boundary,
as said boundary existed on May 17, 1965; thence easterly along said
southerly boundary and following the various courses of the Whittier
Narrows Flood Control Boundary as said boundary existed on May 17,
1965, to the center line of San Gabriel Boulevard, 60 feet wide, as
shown on map of said Tract No. 701; thence northwesterly along said
center line of San Gabriel Boulevard to the easterly prolongation of
the northerly line of Arroyo Drive, 60 feet wide, as shown on map of
said Tract No. 701; thence westerly along said easterly prolongation
and continuing westerly and northwesterly.along the northerly and
northeasterly lines of said Arroyo Drive to the southeasterly boundary
of the City of Rosemead, as said boundary existed on May 17, 1965;
thence northeasterly along the said southeasterly boundary of the
City of Rosemead, as said boundary existed on May 17, 1965; and
following the various courses of the boundary of the City of Rosemead,
as said boundary existed on May 17, 1965 to a point of beginning.
