CC - 1966 - 56 - Cooperative Agreements s RESOLUTION N0. 66-56 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT PROVIDING FOR WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED ON A STATE HIGHWAY UNDER THE TERMS OF DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS ENCROACHMENT PERMIT NO. 766-E-765458. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE (,S FOLL016: WHEREAS, a Cooperative Agreement providing for work to be accomplished on State highway Route 212, Valley Boulevard, Muscatel Avenue to Mission Drive in accordance with the terms of Division of Highways Encroachment Permit No. 766-E-765453 has been presented to the Council for consideration; and, WHEREAS, the Council has read said Agreement and is familiar with the contents thereof; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Rosemead that said Cooperative Agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the Mayor is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said Agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 1966. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD PROHIBITING PARKING ON BOTH SIDES OF VALLEY BOULEVARD BETWEEN IVAR STREET AND MUSCATEL STREET WHEREAS, it is desirable to proceed with the beautification plans for the City of Rosemead; and WHEREAS, these plans include the encroachment into the public right of way on the north side of Valley Boulevard between Ivar Street and Muscatel Street; and WHEREAS, it is desirable that certain of the improvements,' to wit, the installation of curbs, gutters and sidewalks, be commenced immediately; and WHEREAS, the construction activities will require restrictions on parking so that a condition of danger is not created for pedestrian and vehicular traffic. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosemead does direct that signs be posted on both the north side and south side of Valley Boulevard between Ivar Street and Muscatel Street prohibiting the parking of motor vehichles on Valley Boulevard.
