CC - 1967 - 045 - Land from County of LA for Use As Recreation and Park Facilities• • RESOLUTION N0. 67-45 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD REGARDING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LAND FROM THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES FOR USE AS RECREATION AND PARK FACILITIES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead finds that it would in the best interests of the City to acquire for recreation and park facilities the parcel of land now owned by the County of Los Angeles, said parcel facing on Dorothy Avenue between Del Mar and Kelburn; and WHEREAS, in order to acquire this land it will be necessary to relocate a structure currently on the property, such relocation involving an expense of approximately $5,000; and WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has indicated that it would be willing to consider transferring the land in question to the City of Rosemead if the City will bear the expense of relocating the structure presently on the property: NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosemead hereby authorizes and directs the City Administrator to take such steps as necessary to acquire said property for the City of Rosemead and it is hereby declared that the City of Rosemead will agree to pay the actual reasonable moving costs incurred in relocating the existing structure now on said property to facilitate the acquisition of said property, in an amount not to exceed $5,000. 1967 PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 13th day of June, .
