They will provide all the manpower, equipment, advertising, generators, booths, port-a-potties, etc, necessary for an event of this magnitude, as well as, $1,000,000 insurance policy and pay for all City permits and regulations, fire, health, police, etc., which is required for a safe family event. This first time activity at Rosemead Park would set the future location for this annual event. It would also provide a very healthy, social and educational community program. Teaming up with an organization such as Comite Covico Latino-Americano which is a non-profit entity that creates opportunities for at-risk youths should provide an excellent opportunity for the youth of Rosemead, and the City of Rosemead as a whole. FINANCIAL REVIEW There would be absolutely no cost to the City. In addition, the City would receive the revenue of $1,500 for providing the facility, which could be put towards Rosemead Park programs, i.e., 4th of July or Oktoberfest.
