A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD DESIGNATING 1993 AS THE
YEAR OF THE FAMILY
WHEREAS, there has been much discussion in recent years that the
breakdown of the traditional family unit is one of the most
challenging problems facing our society today; and
WHEREAS, we have witnessed in our community that a solid and
stable family is the foundation upon which a healthy living
environment is created; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead has chosen 1993
as the year to recognize Rosemead Families Of The Year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead has worked
continuously through the years to ensure that our community remains
an excellent place to raise a family; and
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead seeks to promote family values and
the importance of maintaining a family-oriented community in this day
and age.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Rosemead designates 1993 as the Year Of The Family in the Rosemead
community.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 25th day, otY May, 1993.
