RESOLUTION NO. 89 - 61
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION
OF SEWER EASEMENTS EAST OF WALNUT GROVE AVENUE
AND NORTH OF RUSH STREET
The City Council of the City of Rosemead resolves as follows:
WHEREAS, the portion of sewer easement has been superseded by
relocation and there are no other public facilities within the
easement; and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of sewer easement east of
Walnut Grove Avenue and north of Rush Street is pursuant to the
summary vacation proceedings under Chapter 4 commencing with section
8330 of Division 9of the Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, a legal description of the proposed vacation is as
follows:
In the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State
of California.
An easement from Southern California Edison Company to
the City of Rosemead dated May 19, 1971 and recorded
May 26, 1971 in Book D5069, page 469 of Official
Records, in the office of the County Recorder of the
County of Los Angeles, State of California.
That portion of Parcel 2 of Parcel Map No. 2118,
as per map filed in Book 31, page 78 of Parcel maps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said County, lying
within those portions of Part A and B described in said
easement, said portions being described as follows:
PARCEL 1:
The Westerly 59.67 feet of that portion of
said Part A, lying within a curve described as
having a radius of 215.00 feet, a central angle of
43 03' 1211, and a distance of 161.56 feet in said
easement.
PARCEL 2:
The Easterly 222.41 feet of said Part B
as described in said easement.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City
of Rosemead order the vacation of the property described herein.

10th day of Octo 1989.
