CC - 1989-62- Summarily Vacating Eckhart0 0 RESOLUTION NO. 89 - 62 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF ECKHART AVENUE SOUTH OF EMERSON AND WEST OF ALHAMBRA WASH The City Council of the City of Rosemead.resolves as follows: WHEREAS, a portion of Eckhart Avenue is an impassable street and has been impassable for a period of five years; and WHEREAS, no public money was expended for maintenance on the street during such period; and WHEREAS, the vacation of the street portion south of Emerson Avenue and west of Alhambra Wash is pursuant to the summary vacation proceedings under Chapter 4 commencing with section 8330 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, a legal description of the proposed vacation is as follows: In the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California. That portion of Eckhart Avenue bounded on the north by the southeasterly prolongation of the southerly line of an easement establishing an official channel to carry the water of Alhambra Wash, in a definite course as recorded in Book 13020, Page 221, of Official Records, in the office of the County Records, in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, State of California. and bounded on the south by the easterly prolongation of the southerly line of lot 20 of Mission Court. As per map recorded in Book 12, Page 113 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Rosemead order the vacation of the property described herein. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of O er, 1989.
