SUBJECT: LEAGUE LEGISLATIVE BRIEFING
SUMMARY
Attached for your review is information regarding the League of California Cities
Legislative Briefing, set to take place November 15th in Sacramento and November
16th in Anaheim.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize any Council Member, the City
Manager and staff designee.
ANALYSIS
Tentative session topics will include: Perspectives on the results of other Ballot
Measures, the Governor's race, and mood of the voters; The Fate of Proposition 90,
Employee Relations and Workers Compensation; Legislation affecting Redevelopment,
Flood Control, Environmental Issues, Housing and Land Use.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Funds for attending this event are included in the 2006-07 Budget.
