Dear Mr. Wong:
The City of Rosemead Planning Department staff completed an inspection on
October 11, 2006, which was the deadline for the rooftop screen wall system to
be completely installed at your restaurant located at 8310 E. Valley Boulevard.
The inspection revealed that the screen wall was near completion. A discussion
with your contractor for the wall revealed that he would finish by Friday, October
20th . However, the contractor stated that he was not under contract to deal with
the outstanding issue of the entrance canopy structure that was installed without
the proper building permits.
Staff inspected the site again today and is satisfied that substantial progress has
been made with regard to the outstanding property improvement corrections.
The Planning Department is therefore granting you an additional three weeks to
complete the remaining items (rooftop wall, entrance canopy, tree box upgrades,
wood trellis cover). Your new deadline for completing the outstanding items is
November 7, 2006.
If you have any additional concerns with
Department to schedule a meeting with
Bermejo, within the next week. I can be
through Thursday 7:00am to 6:00 pm.
Sincerely,
this matter, please call the Planning
