CC - 1991-07 - Supports Military Personnel In Persian Gulf• RESOLUTION NO. 91-7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD SUPPORTING THE EFFORTS OF UNITED STATES MILITARY PERSONNEL IN THE PERSIAN GULF WHEREAS, the United States of 450,000 troops to the Persian Gulf Iraqi invasion of Kuwait; and America has committed in excess of for the purpose of reversing the WHEREAS, the men and women stationed in the Gulf are serving at great peril to their lives and well-being; and WHEREAS, to date, the efforts of our men and women in the Gulf indicate the presence of a superior and dedicated fighting force; and WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead understands the importance of support on the homefront in times like these; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead has every confidence that our men and women will complete their jobs expertly and return home in the near future. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Rosemead does hereby extend its unwavering support for our military forces now serving in the Persian Gulf and will work continuously to ensure continued community support for Operation Desert Storm.
