The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Ly
at 6:15 p.m., in the Rosemead City Hall Conference Room located at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard,
Rosemead, CA 91770.
PRESENT: Mayor Ly, Mayor Pro Tem Clark, Council Members Armenta and Dang
ABSENT: Council Member Low

MATTERS FROM MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL

Interviews and Appointment to the Public Safety Commission
Recommendation: That the City Council consider the appointment to the Public
Safety Commission for one position as a business member to serve a two-year term
ending on dune 30, 2026.
The City Council interviewed timfollowing candidates:
• Jonathan Fang —Business Member, Public Safety Commission
• Wally Hui, DDS-Bgsiness Member, Public Safety Commission
ACTION; Moved by Mayor Pro Tem Clark and seconded by Council Member
Armenta to 'appoint Jonathan Fung (Business Member) to the Public Safety
Commission, for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2024, ending June 30, 2026.
The motion was carried out by the following roll call vote: AYES: Armenta,
Clark, Dang, and Ly NOES: None ABSENT: Low
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Ly adjourned the special meeting at 6:39 p.m.
