SUBJECT: 2025 CITY COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE
SUMMARY
City Council meetings are scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at
7:00 p.m. In the past, the City Council has canceled the second meetings in August (for summer
break), November (for Thanksgiving), and December (for Christmas). Attached is the proposed
meeting schedule for the 2025 calendar year. Adopting this schedule will help the City Council,
staff, and the community plan their schedules in advance. The City Council has the discretion to
add, modify, or cancel meetings as needed.
In addition, Veterans Day falls on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, which coincides with a regular
City Council meeting day. As Veterans Day is a recognized holiday, the City Council has the
option to either reschedule the meeting as a special meeting on a different day or cancel it
altogether. The proposed options will be presented to the City Council for consideration at a later
date.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt a City Council meeting schedule for the 2025
calendar year.
