CC - 1988-34 - Requesting an allocation of county aid to cities funds for the maintenance of select system streetE 0 RESOLUTION NO. :88-34 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR THE MAIN- TENANCE OF SELECT SYSTEM STREETS WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain monies to the City of Rosemead as County Aid to Cities; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of $267,193 of said funds accrued to the City for the maintenance of streets on the City's ap- proved select system. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rosemead resolves. that: 1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $267,193 of the Aid to Cities Funds apportioned to the City for the maintenance of those streets on the currently approved select systems of streets (ex- cluding state highways) on file with the Department of Transportation, State of California and incorporated herein by reference. 2. After the allocation is approved by the Board of Supervisors and funds are available, the County is requested to send such allocated amount to the City. The City will begin using the funds for street maintenance according to the terms of the allocation. i 3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Los Angeles County Director of Public Works for processing.
