A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, NOTIFYING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO
RETAIN LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rosemead engages
the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as its general law
enforcement agency; and
WHEREAS, the contracts for such service are renewable in
five year increments; and
WHEREAS, the current contracts, entered into April 9, 1980,
required the City to notify the Board of Supervisors of its
intent prior to December 31 of the year preceeding expiration of
said contracts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Rosemead wishes to renew its contracts with the County
of Los Angeles, to provide law enforcement services to the City
through the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
