CC - 1987-20 - Adopting Appropriation Limits for FY 88-870 • RESOLUTION NO. 87-20 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD ADOPTING AN APPROPRIATIONS LIMITATION FOR THE 1987-88 FISCAL YEAR WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the Constitution of the State of California provides that total annual appropriations subject to limitation of the City shall not exceed the appropriations limit of the City for the prior year as adjusted for changes in population and the U. S. Consumer Price Index, except as otherwise provided in said Article; and WHEREAS, the city council wishes to set an appropriations limitation for the 1987-88 fiscal year on those appropriations subject to limitation under Article XIII-B. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the annual appropriation limitation for the City of Rosemead during the 1987-88 fiscal year for appropriations subject to limitation under Article XIII-B shall be thirteen million one hundred forty-one thousand six hundred twenty-three dollars ($13,141,623.00). This limita- tion shall apply only to appropriations subject to limitation under Article XIII-B. SECTION 2. The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution and thereupon the same shall take effect and be in force.
