A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD EXPRESSING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE
NORTH SIDE OF MARSHALL STREET EAST OF
AND ADJACENT TO RUBIO WASH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD resolves as follows:
SECTION 1. That a portion of the north side of Marshall Street east of and
adjacent to Rubio Wash will be considered for vacation under Part 3, para-
graph 8300-8373 of the Streets and Highways Code. The property proposed
to be vacated is adjacent to A. P. No. 5390-7-84 and the address is 8751 -
8757 Marshall Street.
A sketch showing the location of the proposed vacation is attached.
SECTION 2. A legal description of the proposed vacation is as follows:
In the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California.
All that portion of Marshall Street that lies easterly of the Los Angeles
County Flood Control District Right-of-Way and its southeasterly pro-
longation, known as Rubio Wash, as shown on the map of Tract No.
16400 as recorded in Book 516, Page 10 of Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County. And northerly of Marshall Street, 60
feet wide, as described in Parcel 6-1 recorded in Book 31164, Page 112
Official Records of said County.
SECTION 3. The vacation will reserve an easement for utilities or other
uses if necessary.
SECTION 4. A public hearing will be held by the City Council on Tuesday,
September 8, 1987, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 8838 E. Valley
Boulevard, Rosemead, California, at which time anyone wishing to address
the Council with regard to the proposed vacation may appear and be heard.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk is instructed to post or publish a Notice of
Public Hearing on this matter as required by the Streets and Highway Code.
