Valley Blvd. 8~-- 1 CJ 1U7 Rosemead, CA 91770 V I RESOLUTION NO. 87- 38 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD VACATING A PORTION OF THE NORTH SIDE OF MARSHALL STREET EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO RUBIO WASH FREEE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD resolves as follows: WHEREAS, Resolution No. 87-34 of the City Council 'of the City of Rosemead expressed its intention to vacate a portion of . the north side of Marshall Street east of and adjacent to RuLin Wash and Ingelly described as f. I11 ;yc• In the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California. All that portion of Marshall Street that lies easterly of the Los Angeles County Flood Control District Right-of-Way and its southeasterly prolongation, known as Rubio Wash,, as shown. on the map of Tract No. 16400 as recorded in Book 516, Page 10 of Maps in the office of the County Recorded of said County,,-and northerly of Marshall Street, 60 feet wide, as described in Parcel 6-1 recorded in Book 31164, Page 112, Official Records of said County. This property is also identified as adjacent to Assessor Parcel No. 5390-8-84, which has an address of 8751-8757 Marshall Street. A drawing of the property is attached as Exhibit A. WHEREAS a public 'hearing was held on September 8, 1987, at 8 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, 'at which time the City Council found, from all evidence submitted, that the property described herein was unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. WHEREAS, the public hearing was published and posted as required by law. WHEREAS, this vacation procedure conforms to the requirements of Section 6300. to 8349 of the Streets and Highways Code. -NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of Rosemead orders the vacation of the property described herein, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is excepted from this vacation "An easement for Pacific Bell and Southern California Edison to, from- time to time, construct, maintain', operate, replace, remove, and renew such aerial and underground power and communication facilities (including ingress thereto and egress therefrom) consisting. of-.poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires, crossarms, conduits, manholes, handholes, markers, pedestals, terminal equipment cabinets, electrical conductors and necessary fixtures and appurtenances." - PASSED and.
