A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
VACATING A PORTION OF FALLING LEAF AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS:
On January 13,
1987, Resolution No.
87-3 was
adopted by the
City Council
expressing its
intention to vacate a portion
of Falling Leaf
Avenue, and
a public hearing
was set for February
10, 1987.
WHEREAS: The
property proposed to
be vacated is
a portion of a public
street at 2316
Falling Leaf
Avenue
(A. P. No. 5
284-12-3) and legally
described as the
westerly one
(1 ) foot
of Lots 1 and
2 of Parcel Map 15676
as said Lots are
shown on the
map reco
rded in Book
190 of Maps, pages 39
and 40, Records
of Los Angeles
County,
California.
WHEREAS: A public hearing was held by the City Council on January 13,
1987, at which time evidence offered by interested personsrwas heard.
WHEREAS: This street vacation is being done in compliance with Part 3,
paragraphs 8300 - 8373 of the Streets and Highways Code.
NOW T14EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds, from all
evidence submitted that the portion of Falling Leaf Avenue hereinabove
described, and as described in the Resolution of Intention, is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use and orders it vacation.
