RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE
TEMPLE STATION CAREER CRIMINAL
APPREHENSION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Rosemead desires to undertake a certain project
designated Temple Station Career Criminal Apprehension
Program to be funded in part from funds made available
through Chapter 477, 1985 Statutes., Career Criminal
Apprehension Program as amended, and administered by the
office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to
as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Sheriff of Los Angeles
County, or his designee, is authorized, on its behalf to
submit the attached application for grant funds for law
enforcement purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of Rosemead the attached Grant Award for
law enforcement purposes including any extensions or
amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the CITY agrees to provide a proportional
(29.68%) share of all matching funds in conjunction with the
cities of Bradbury, Duarte, South E1 Monte and Temple City,
required for said project (including any extensions or
amendments thereof), and that cash will be appropriated as
required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not
be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
