CC - 1984-27 - Street Superintendents Reporti RESOLUTION NO.84-27 A RESOLUTION OP'"THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA': CONFIRMING Tit STREET SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT " AND ASSESSMENTS THEREIN WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Streets and Highways Code, 1911 Improvement Act, Chapter 27, Section 589.5 and, WHEREAS, the City Council at its regular meeting of July 8, 1980, adopted the following policy statement for payment of.assessments in annual installments,`to'wit; "All assessments shall be due and payable within the fiscal year in which the assessment is levied. Installment'payment, . not to exceed five annual installments, may be arranged for those owners of property who request installment payment of an individual assessment and who demonstrate. that substantial financial hardship will result from the imposition of a one year assessment'.. For purposes of. this policy, substantial economic hardship shall be defined as a material reduction in the standard.of living for the owner of the property and his family, if.any. WHEREAS, the assessments are hereby,confi.rmed for properties listed,in Exhibit "A", and WHEREAS, the assessment is hereby confirmed for the property listed in'Exhibit "B", establishing'an installment payment plan. SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 5883 of the Streets and Highways Code, the report of the Street Superintendent with respect to the Construction of Improvements and the proposed assessments set forth therein are hereby confirmed. SECTION 2. In.the event that within five (5) days from the date is directed to record a.Notice of Recorder and turn over a notice of delivery to the County Auditor for books opposite descriptions of the said assessments' are not paid, hereof, the Street Superintendent Lien'in the office of the County lien to the Tax Collector for entry.on the County Assessment parcels concerned.
