SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing the attendance of any Council Member who wishes to
attend the AIPAC Congressional Summit, from February 23-25, 2025 in Washington, D.C.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council authorize any Council Member to attend the AIPAC
Congressional Summit, from February 23-25,2025 in Washington, D.C.
ANALYSIS
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution
No. 2005-47, requires City Council approval for out-of-state travel beyond an adjacent state.
Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget.

This February, please join us for the AIPAC Congressional Summit. This
exclusive event will take place at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC. The
Summit will begin on Sunday, February 23rd and conclude on Tuesday,
February 25'^ after a day of lobbying on Capitol Hill.
Please make travel plans to arrive on Saturday, February 22nd. Exclusive
programming for political coalitions leaders will begin on Sunday morning.
