SUMMARY
At the January 28, 2025, meeting, Council Member Dang requested the City Council discuss
adding a criteria to the Request for Proposals scoring card. Specifically, proposing to include a
community benefit point item that would allow the City to evaluate contractors who demonstrate
a commitment to giving back to the community through local partnerships, volunteer work, or
other forms of civic engagement.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council discuss and provide direction to City staff.
