A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25
OPERATING BUDGET AND APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR
THE ACQUISITION OF A NEW CATERPILLAR 420 BACKHOE
LOADER
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating and Capital
Improvement Program budgets on June 27, 2024; and
WHEREAS, amendments must periodically be made to the budget to conform to changed
circumstances following adoption of the budget; and
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2024-25 budget included funding for capital equipment in
the amount of $110,000; and
VMEREAS, funding was not fully allocated in the City's approved 2024-25 Budget thus
tegtiiring a revision to add $100,000 in Street Light District Funds to cover the remaining cost of
the acquisition; and
WHEREAS, the revised appropriation
approved pufsuam to Resolution No. 2024-30.
constitutes an update to the 2024-25 Budget
THE ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby approves an appropriation in the amount of One
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) in Street Light District Funds (Fund 245) to increase
funding for the purchase.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
