A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA, SUPPORTING THE PROPOSED
WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF SAN GABRIEL BOULEVARD
BETWEEN THE POMONA FREEWAY AND ROSEAEAD BOULEVARD
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE:CITY OF ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA
.DOES HEREBY RESOLVE.AS FOLLOWS:.- `
WHEREAS, the;Los Angeles County Road Department proposes'
to widen and improve•San.Gabriel Boulevard between the Pomona
Freeway and.Rosemead'Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, tie-City Council.~supports the proposed project
as necessary-and.vital, 'to Rosemead' and. surrounding,communities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
desires to go on record as making the following recommendations
and requests:
.1. That all public'improvements.related -to.-the proposed
project be, in accord with the=standardsiaxid requirements
of the City of Rosemead.
2. .That the proposed project be,substantially in accord with
the Master Plan of Streets and Highways and the Circula-
tion Element of the General Plan of the City of Rosemead.
3. That the Los Angeles County Road Department consult with,
the Staff of the Planning Department'of the City of
Rosemead during the planning and design stages of the
proposed project
