The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Clark at 6:30 p.m. in the
Rosemead City Council Chamber located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California.
ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS PRESENT: Mayor Clark, Mayor Pro Tern Taylor, Council Members Armenta,
Low, Ly.
OFFICIALS PRESENT: Interim City Manager Stewart, Agency Attorney Montes, Assistant City Manager
Saeki, Assistant City Manager Hawkesworth, Director of Finance Brisco,Director of Parks and Recreation
Montgomery-Scott, Economic Development Administrator Ramirez; Deputy Public Works Director
Marcarello, and City Clerk Molleda.

out. Interim City Attomey Montesistated that Council had voted unanimously to appoint Matt Hawkesworth
as the Acting City Manager beginning May 18th through the time that the new City Manager takes office. In
. Hawkesworth will be compensated 10% above his current salary during this
