The special meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called to order by Mayor Clark at 9:06 a.m. in the
Rosemead City Council Chamber located at 8838 East Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California.

voted 4/t to,instruc the City Attorney to try)ani reach terms with a candidate, assuming terms are reached
with that candidate on the agreement; the,identity of the candidate and the terms of the agreement will be
announced at the regular Council meeting on May 12, 2009. In addition, Mr. Stewart added that the vote
was 4/1 and Mayor Pro.Tem Taylor voted no.
3. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 2:10 p.m. The next regular City Council meeting is scheduled to take place on
May 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
