SUBJECT: UPDATE ON BILLING FROM THE FORMER CITY ATTORNEY
SUMMARY
Councilman Taylor requested an update on the status of any outstanding bills from the previous
City Attorney firm of Garcia, Calderon, Ruiz, LLP. I spoke to Mr. Bonny Garcia on August 13,
2009 and he found that we still have one outstanding invoice for retainer services in August
2008. A copy of that invoice has been sent to the Council under separate confidential cover.
Once this invoice has been paid, our account will be paid in full.
Staff Recommendation
That the City Council receive and file this report.
