CONTINUED DISCUSSION OF VOTER REFORM BILLS Councilmember Taylor quoted various sections of the "Motor Voter Act" that pertained to no voter registration requirements in an election for federal officers and registration of voters at polling places at the time of voting in a General Election. Mr. Taylor stated that those practices could lead to widespread voter fraud and that the law protects anyone from challenging a person coming in to vote. Mr. Taylor referred to sections that states that data concerning the numbers of voters registered in the past two general elections and the numbers of how many voted in those elections cannot be requested. Mr. Taylor expressed his concern about the ability to audit this program. CC 4-11-95 Page #13
