RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND 2001 ASIAN CRIME AND GANG SEMINAR
SEPTEMBER 4-7, 2001
Attached for your consideration is information regarding the aforementioned conference which is
sponsored by the Asian Gang Investigators Association of California. Rosemead Team Deputies
and Council have attended this conference in the past. This year's seminar includes topics on
Regional Updates on Asian Gangs, Legal Updates, Crimes Relating to Asian Gang Involvement,
and Origination of Asian Gangs.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council authorize the attendance of any
Councilmember and Rosemead Team Deputies Valenzuela and Zarate.
