RE: APPROVAL OF FIREWORKS STAND LOCATIONS
As of this date, the License Department has received 14 applications for firework stands. Staff is
recommending that 12 of the 14 applications be approved. The Church of God Prophecy is not
located in the City of Rosemead, and Praise Church - Royal Rangers has no City permits
(attached is a memo from Code Enforcement), therefore, these are not recommended for
approval.
Attached is a list of the 12 applications and firework stands locations that we are recommending
that the City Council approve at this time. All deposits have been received and certificates of
insurance are on file. In the past, the City Council has waived electrical permit fees.
RECOMMENDATION,
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council approve the attached list of stands and
locations and waive electrical permit fees.
