SUBJECT: CONSIDERATION TO CANCEL MARCH 24, 2026 CITY COUNCIL
MEETING
SUMMARY
The City Council will consider the cancellation of its regularly scheduled meeting of March 24,
2026, due to a projected lack of quorum. Should the March 24 meeting be cancelled, the next
regular meeting of the City Council will be held as scheduled on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at
7:00 p.m.
BACKGROUND
A quorum, which is the minimum number of Council Members required to conduct official
business, may not meet per the Brown Act. The City Council meetings schedule is provided on
the City's official website and posted at City Hall as required by law.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council cancel the regular City Council meeting of March 24, 2026.
FISCAL IMPACT - None
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The proposed action does not constitute a project under the California Environmental Quality
Act ("CEQA"), and it can be seen with certainty that it will have no impact on the environment.
As such, this matter is exempt under CEQA.

This item has been noticed through the regular agenda notification process.
