RE: ORDINANCE NO. 703 - PROHIBITING SMOKING IN ALL CITY
OF ROSEMEAD MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS
Because of disclosures in recent years regarding illnesses associated
with smoking and sidestream smoke, staff is recommending a no smoking
policy in all city buildings and vehicles. The buildings affected
will be City Hall, the Community Center, Zapopan Community Center,
park offices and all city owned vehicles. All buildings will be
posted with "no smoking" signs to ensure adequate citizen awareness
of the new policy.
It is recommended that the City Council introduce Ordinance No. 703.
